We are in the final phase of a couple other projects so that means - TIME FOR A NEW ONE! Well, TWO actually. We have two new titanium strut bars for the Mazda RX-7 FD3S in the prototype phase. One is OEMish (Type-A), the other is made for guys with motor swaps in mind (Type-B).TYPE-A Type-A as it's being called is an "OEM Style" strut bar. Mazda RX-7 [FD3S] Titanium Tow Hooks! Part 2...
So we're making progress on the titanium tow hook set for the Mazda RX-7 [FD3S]. Titanium came in, was cut, CNCd, bent, polished and burnt (also media blasted for the non-burnt look). The front tow hook should work with OEM USDM front ends, JDM 99Spec front ends and most aftermarket fronts ends - but obviously we haven't tested all of them... so please make sure to do your research to see if it will fit! The rear will replace the OEM tie down bracket (which is discontinued by the way) and fit with OEM rear bumpers and some aftermarket diffusers. ...
Mazda RX-7 [FD3S] Titanium Tow Hook?
So we've been toying with the idea of making a set of titanium tow hooks for the Mazda RX-7 [FD3S]. The issue is, there are a couple options for tow hooks that mount to the factory rear tie down bracket - BUT - those rear tie down brackets are discontinued from Mazda and therefore all those cool tow hooks are sitting in part bins with nowhere to go. This solution uses the mounting points for the OEM rear tie down bracket BUT extends further down so a tow strap can be connected. Oh, it's ALSO titanium and ALSO looks bad...
