When Mazda was developing the FD3S they let the engineers run wild. Case in point; they took the brake and clutch pedals, made them out of aluminum, then drilled holes in them. All in an effort to save a few ounces.
As cool as the pedals are, they stopped short of a full set, leaving the gas and dead pedal unexciting and plastic. We set out with the help of LevyRotorCorp to fix that! The result is nothing short of... OEM.
This Mazda RX-7 [FD3S] OEM Style Gas Pedal is CNC cut from solid 6061 aluminum, tig welded and sandblasted for a perfect OEM matching finish. The end product is a complete replacement for your OEM pedal/lever assembly.
We've even gone a step further and created a WIDE version of the gas pedal to assist with tricky heel/toe maneuvers and add an additional level of confidence behind the wheel.
Don't forget to grab the matching OEM Style Dead Pedal and complete the set!
Here in Nerw Zealand and this took a while BUT; So worth the wait. I am dumbfounded at the quality and the perfection of these products. $650usd worth of products set me back $1200.nzd but it looks like $5000-nzd of product. I can not thank you enough for your care and professionalism during the process of my online order. FD owners? Find your credit card and do yourself and your passion the honour of owning these products from Garage Alpha. btw, thanks so much for the stickers!
It's a Christmas gift for my son! I'm pretty sure he'll be happy!
I ordered and installed the wide version of the Garage Alpha (GA) Gas pedal and I'm delighted. Design and construction would make Mazda jealous. Looking forward to more GA upgrades to my FD.
Very well made and looks perfect. If you don't have one yet, add it to your cart!
This is a fantastic item. The quality of the piece itself is excellent, so it looks and feels great. Installation was a snap as well. I always used to feel like I was pushing the normal gas pedal down with the far right side of my foot, so it's a huge improvement to have a more centered feeling with this wider version. Not to mention, heel-toeing is also far more doable.
