When Mazda was developing the FD3S they let the engineers run wild. Case in point; they took the brake and clutch pedals, made them out of aluminum, then drilled holes in them. All in an effort to save a few ounces.
As cool as the pedals are, they stopped short of a full set, leaving the gas and dead pedal unexciting and plastic. We set out with the help of LevyRotorCorp to fix that! The result is nothing short of... OEM.
This Mazda RX-7 [FD3S] OEM Style Dead Pedall is CNC cut from solid 6061 aluminum and sandblasted for a perfect OEM matching finish. The end product is a perfect cover for your OEM dead pedal.
We've even gone a step further and created a LHD version as well as a RHD version, so every FD3S can rock these pedals in style!

Thoughtful FD Products
Over the past couple of years I’ve bought a number of items to refresh my Mazda RX7 FD. The car is getting tired now but is evolving into a timeless classic thanks to the quality of Garage Alpha’s products. I prefer to subtly modernise my car to keep it ‘up to date’ without compromising the original design to keep the Mazda ethos (in my opinion). So when I was pointed in the direction of Garage Alpha I was in my element. Matching a Dead Pedal to the other pedals is no mean feat, but the guys at Garage Alpha have pulled it off, and I have a matching accelerator (gas) pedal cover too to cover my fly by wire pedal. Under the bonnet (hood) I’ve got the titanium prop, I’m about to buy a strut brace and some mats, and for the inside I’ve got a titanium gear (shift) knob and handbrake (parking brake) cover and ignition key. It’s great that the guys have made these items for LHD and RHD cars too, no worries either side of the pond about whether something fits. Modern day enhancements are made too, like cup holders and fresh mats, but with a nod to the past designs. I have recommended Garage Alpha to so many friends because of the quality of their catalogue.

It fit perfect on my dead pedal; I bought some Allen head screws that matched the chamfer of the holes in pedal plate and it looks like it was factory

Shipping was quick and the product itself is very well made. installation was easy but the holes were too small for the screws, so I had to drill them slightly larger. Also 5 screws would be better than the 4 they sent because of the shape of the pedal.
