GARAGE ALPHA OFFROAD - 1998-2002 Lexus LX470 TRD Style Grille
DESCRIPTION
The 100 Series Lexus LX470 is a Land Cruiser in a tuxedo. Don't let the Lexus badge fool you, the LX is a capable offroader with Lexus comfort, V8 power and Toyota durability.
As a nod to it's Toyota roots and to give it a bit of a tougher look, we took months to develop what we thought was the perfect TRD Style Grille for the front of this beast.
The LX470 TRD Style Grille fits the 1998-2002 Lexus LX470 PRE-FACELIFT models and installs with near OEM like fitment. There are however some caveats. First, you are going to have a slight gap at the bottom of the grille. This is not noticeable, but it's there. Second, the grille 'cage' that fits inside the OEM grille will slightly stand off once installed. You can mitigate this will trimming the grille cage with a dremel for tighter clearances. Again, no effect to performance but it's a reality of this grille.
Whether you're hitting the trails, climbing rocks or just running to the mall - the Lexus LX470 TRD Style Grille is for you.

I ordered the wrong part. They asked me to return it. I returned it and they ghosted me for months, no respond to email or PM's!!! Don't do business if you want your money back if something goes wrong... I've got better service from a disgruntled McDonald's employee!

This changed the look of my LX and the accent lighting was a nice touch. Very pleased with the install and upgrade. Be careful not to over tight screws as the can begin to protrude to the face.

It's a nice little refresh to my 99' LX470. I get a lot of look and compliments, asking if it's a new type of Lexus, since people haven't seen that type before. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a modern refresh to the old 90's 2000s style grill.
